Dog Cages Car

We are going on a 5 hour car ride can we bring our chinchilla?

its an air conditioned car. if we can bring him wat should we bring him in we have a huge cage that’s 4 stories tall so i don t think we can bring him in that will a dog cage work?

No. Please dont bring him. They are nocturnal and dont like the sun or the heat. Just being in direct sunlight could cause heat stroke reguardless of the temp of the car. A long car ride would definitely not be comfortable for him if its avoidable

Even with the A/C in the car going it wouldnt be a good move. The only time I would suggest bringing them in the car is if they are going to the Vet or you are bringing them somewhere if you have to go away for a little bit and needed someone to watch him. And then just use a cat carrier. That will give them more then enough room to move for the trip.

If you are going away over night just make sure he has plenty of food and water and he should be find till you return.
