Why do cats pee on Dog Beds and bathroom mats?

My cat is 10 years old and he pees on my dog’s bed and the bathroom mats but never anywhere else except to the litter box. Why does he keep doing this and how do i stop him?

because if you have a dog, the cat feels the need to mark its territory, which includes anywheres the dog sits around. You can get special kinds of litter that have scents to attract your cat, however i would use a Pet Odor disinfectant spray and put it anywheres your pets sit on so they won’t feel the need to urinate on it.
