Do you have to re-apply the flea medicine to your dog after bathing him? Or is the flea medicine good for a?

whole month or more anyway, regardless of how many times the dog is bathed in between treatments?

My dog is using Advantage I think it’s called, but does not have any fleas that I’ve ever noticed.

no no no! do NOT re-apply the medication. you can cause an overdose if you do that.

the medication should be applied as close to the SKIN as possible. it is absorbed by the skin, it’s not suppose to sit on top of the hair…that does nothing.

a once a month treatment is all you need, regardless if you bath them after a treatment.

i usually bath my dogs then when they are dry and brushed out i apply their medication.
