Erich Stauffer apparently signed the figurines in the 1940′s which is a good indication of the age of the figures and could improve the price. It could have been during WWII when Germany could not export to the USA. The figurines were made in Japan and are Hummel Imitations by Arnartcreation, Japan.

Hummels are worth more, but it could fetch around $20 if in good shape.
