How to make sims pet stories work with sims 2 double deluxe?

I had sims 2 double deluxe, I got sims pet stories and i think that was the dummest thing i ever did i can return it to a store but those jerks(srry but they are, my brother got a game he thought it was for a pc but it wasnt so he returned it and got only a half price back while he never even used it) that work there probably will not buy it for full price well, it was my fault, i dindt read the box and opened it. anyway, i thought it was the same thing as sims 2 pets, and now i got a problem i vista, and everything works perfectly except i want them to work together. Cant you just like take some files from 1 game and put in the folder of the other(i dont care about reinstalling, really, i am horoble at playing anyway. But please come with good ans. if you just wanna look smart, and say something just go answer somebody else, cause if i destroy my cp or not (not) without pets its boring…help??

Sorry no matter what anyone else tells you. They are 2 separate games and if you try to move the files from one to the other you will just mess up both games. Even sharing the items between them borks the game unless you rewrite the code.

You cannot get the 2 games to work together. I would return it anyway even though you won’t get full price and use the credit towards purchasing The Sims 2 Pets which will work with your game.
