Controlling my horse?
i have a irish draught horse about 14.3 and when i go to catch him he lets me put headcollar on and then when i pull him along he runs off and ends up kickin out at me.is their anythin i can used to catch him wiv unstead of a headcollar cuz i just don’t have any control wiv it. ?
You could try him with a lead rope witch is partially chain put the chain bit over his nose and when he tries to bugger off give him a pull and he should come back and listen as it will be uncomfortablefor him. You could also try leading him out in a bridle which will give you more control but be carefull when you let him go in the field make sure he lets the bit go nicely so it doesn’t chop him in the gob!
