Need help with Corpsman rank…?
I went to the doctor at Camp Pendleton and turned out my doctor is a nurse practitioner (thats what the lady told me.),and they said I was gonna see nurse practitioner Captain such and such.When he was taking my temp,I looked at his collar,and I saw a gold leaf (like a tree leaf,not the commander insignia) and the other side had a silver something.He was wearing khakis.I can’t figure out what it was on his collar,I want to be sure what I saw was right,haha.Someone help!
I just found that the gold leaf that I found is a Nurse Corps something.But I’m still confused about the silver something that I saw.Maybe it was an anchor?

if it was a Captain, then you would have seen a shiny silver Eagle.. Your O6/Col.
Anchors are for Chiefs: E7-E9. those are HMs, not Officers/Nurse practitioners.
