How to get hair out of a brush or comb.?

It’s the hardest thing, trying to get old hair out of a brush, I can use another comb or wash it with water.
Is there a better way?

There are 2 easy ways to get the hair out of the brush.

IF YOU HAVE A ROUND BRUSH:
Soak the brush for like 5 minutes in hot water. Then take a comb and pull out the hair from the handle to the tip of the brush.
You can also just cut the hair out the brush. (But its messy and you usually have to pull it out with your hands anyway).

IF YOU HAVE A FLAT BRUSH:
Take a comb and just push it to the tip of the brush and pull it out with your hands.
