Can you use no-bark collar with metal crate?

I just bought an Innotek No-Bark Collar as a last result for my dogs excessive barking. Does anyone know if it is safe for me to put it on him while he is in a metal crate?

Very safe. The only way for the shock to transfer to the metal is for the prongs on the collar to be touching the cage. It won’t magnify the shock or anything is he’s touching the side of the cage when he barks.

ADD: Truth Hurts, Doesn’t It? is correct that you shouldn’t leave a dog unsupervised with any kind of training tool on. Besides possibly getting caught on something, some dogs learn to ignore the stim from the collar and will just keep barking. This could cause serious damage to your dog.
