how do you make a reversible jacket?

I’m making a ghawazee coat, which has a low front, and the parts of the coat below the hip are divided in front into 2 parts and one panel in back. The sleeves are only connected at the top arc of the armhole. It buttons or otherwise clasps up the front. I have two great fabrics that will not only compliment each other, but cotton lining cotton will be a sturdier garment. But I’ve made only one reversible item before, a vest, where I turned the whole garment through the side seams, then slip-stitched them closed by hand.

Make two jackets, of course, like you did with the vest. Sew the bottom seam on the machine, and the front seams as well. Then, sew the neck and sleeves by hand after turning it. There may be a way to sew the sleeves by machine, but I’m not sure.
