I know that using a washing machine uses around 10 gallons of water per load, but what if you wash clothes by hand? Then, how many gallons would you use?

There are very efficient washers nowadays that use very little water while handwashing’s water consumption depends on what you are washing and how you rinse but most of the time, handwashing consumes more water.
