What do you think of my poem?
Writing Utensil
I hold pink rubber
Between both palms
Upon which sweat appears
As they work with reckless abandon
To erase the unwanted dark wording
Embedded in the front page
Swish Swash Swish Swash Swish Swash
The ever-increasing perspiration
Covers my hands with a slick sheen
And makes me loose my grip
On the offending rubbery thing
Swish Swash SWIIISSSHHH SWAAASSSHHH
Each brush upon the paper
Leaves behind residual shavings
Sends cramps from hands to wrists
And a cough releases itself
From the confines of my throat
As the pink dust floats about my head
Stupid-COUGH-Pesky-COUGH-Particles
Patience finally pays off
As the last of the wording disappears
And the long sought after results
Stare me straight in the eye”
A clean sheet of CRISP white paper
I release an enormous sigh of relief
At the sight of blank perfection
It is cleared of mistakes
And ready to take on a fresh onslaught of words
All of it beginning with:

I, personal, love this poem! You may want to change the beginning where you are holding the eraser and say you somehow flipped the eraser to make it between your fingers and you may want to put it in stanzas
