ingrown nail should i get kitty declawed?
i’m not usually in favour of declawing. but i think my new kitty has an ingrown nail (or well claw). all her other claws come out but the one in the middle. like i can kinda see one but it has no tip to it and she kinda seems to have a limp when she walks
so i’m wondering if there’s something that can be done or if it’d be better to have her declawed. and if declawing is the only option, would it be only of that finger or her whole paw so that she doesn’t walk uneven.
(i tried calling my Vet, but was told he was on vacation and won;t be back for 3 more weeks.. it’s like when you need them they can’t be found)
Whenever an animal is obviously limping or in pain, it’s time to see the vet.
I’m concerned that your vet went on vacation and didn’t have another practitioner cover emergencies in his absence. Perhaps it’s time to find someone else.
