My dog won’t stop barking!?

I really need help! I have a Dauchie/Terrier mix (Maggie) That i have to leave outside when i go to work! She drives me and all my neighbors nuts! I can’t leave her in the house durring the day! I’ve tried shock collars (which i had to take off her cause it hurt her too bad) ive tried different training methods and now were trying the citronella collar! Which works OK but when it goes empty and i dont refill it in time she goes insane! I am looking for a premanant resolution to her barking besides (debarking) her! I cant afford the surgery! Any suggestions would be appreciated!

a dog has no sense of time. when you are gone for just an hour to her it seems like for ever and that you are never coming back. She needs company during the day, can you find a dog-sitter, perhaps an older person who lives alone?
