Christmas Dog Collars
My dog is super jealous, and how can I get her to stop?
I can’t even leave the room or touch another pet without her going nuts- it’s getting super annoying, but I don’t want to have to use something like a bark collar or something like that. I’d like to have her not do that so maybe she won’t be as bad for Thanksgiving (but I doubt that will happen) and for Christmas maybe…..so how can I get her to stop. By the way, she’s an eight year old German Shepard.
Personally i would get a Dog Crate and fill it with goodies and place her in it for short while while your in the same room so she knows your still their, after a few days move a bit away, so she still knows your their and carry this on… lots of pets love crates and find its their own space…
If she wont let you touch another pet in the household place her on a lead at a distance far enough to take her away… and keep doing this…
We are training a dog who is a cat hater and from a week ago, we have got down to the odd spat…
patience, she is worried your not coming back, or why is mum wanting to touch another pet and me.
Never use crates in anger or punishment, crates should be fun..
Another one is clicker train her look on ebay for a clicker, lots of dogs find this fun and its simple and fun to do..
