how long should i boil a chicken breast (for the chicken/rice diet for pups)?

I am going to try the chicken rice diet for my puppy who has diarrhea. How long should i boil the chicken breast? Does this bland diet for diarrhea really work?

I just did this for mine yesterday! =)
When the water comes to boil, I turned the heat down to simmer for 22 minutes. After timer went off, I turned off the heat and let them sit for about 20 (just to be safe). =)
Yep, it works — unless your pup has something more than an “upset tummy.” If it doesn’t improve in 24 hours (max), I’d take her in.
