what is the best ich medicine for goldfish?

i got tetra ich guard for my large black moor because it was the cheapest one at pet smart. the ich if anything seems to have gotten a little worse but not too much.

Additional info: I’ve only put in the first dosage to my 30 gallon tank and it hasn’t been 24 hours yet so this med might still work.

Does anyone know if the tetra ick guard tablets works well with treating ich and can i get new fish in my tank while im treating for the ich?

I have 6 goldfish in my tank now and they’re all about medium size except for a little black moor i got.

This might seem to be crazy to other users, but it’s my experience and I healed my fish from ick in less than an hour. Just quarantine the sick fish, measure the volume of the isolation tank, put table salt as many as 10-15 grams/liter of water and put in the fish in the salt water for 20-40 minutes or until you saw no more ick. The fish is now healed. I read this from a book and tried it myself, it’s super effective. But remember, don’t overdose the salt or dip the fish in saltwater for too long, if you do, a fish will die.
