Using a chain collar as prong backup?

So apparently it’s possible for prongs to come apart when you need them most.. I’ve seen a couple websites that suggested “use a chain collar as backup” but how exactly would that be done?
**********Please, no ignorant nonsense about how I’m abusing my dog by using a prong collar. He’s my dog, not yours, and I’ll train him how I please**********
I though about somehow weaving the chain collar through the links of the prong collar, but I’d think that would mess up the correction I give with the prong collar..?
Would I put the chain collar on above the prong or below it?

((yes, I know the prong collar is supposed to be right up underneath his ears, that’s why i’m asking))

I use the dominant dog collar, which is fitted tightly, like the prong, just above or below it.

A chain collar has to be looser than a dominant dog collar, because you have to be able to get it over the dogs head.

If you used a chain, I think it would tend to move around and get in the way.
