How can I easily remove dried grout from ceramic tiles?

Recently I took some tiles (I broke up) and grout and applied them to a board to make a mosaic. To fill the “holes” in between tiles I plopped a clump of grout down and then used a rubber spatula to spread it across. This worked well, but when I tried to clean the tiles it disturbed the smooth, wet grout in between. I decided to let it dry, but it is nearly impossible to get it off the tiles. I must wet it and then razor blade it off.
Do you have a better solution? How bout a recommendation for my next mosaic?

first i think you aren’t supposed to clean it off till it is dry. the grout will come off the tiles just fine.
and you can actually go to home depot and buy stuff that removes dried grout, it kind of look like a spatula, but it has a hooked sharp edge….should cost that much and will be way more effective than a razor blade.
