Have you used Soft Claws/Paws on your kitten or cat and if so …?

Hi, I just found an ad online for these Soft Claws/Paws nail caps for cats and kittens that is supposed to be a humane alternative to declawing. Have you used them and if so how did you and your cat like them? Does the cat get used to them pretty quickly? How long do they stay on? Would you recommend them? Why/why not? Thank you for your help!

Soft paws are great for your cat. It will protect your furniture and carpets from scratching and it will not bother your cat. You will first trim the nail so they are not so curved and sharp insert a little of the glue that comes with the set into the false nail and place it over the cat’s own claw. Depending on how calm your cat is you might need one person to hold the cat while you or someone else puts the nail cap on. The caps usually last a month and they give you extra. If you run out of the nail glue that comes with the kit you can use the human nail glue you get at the store.
