How much weight can a car top carrier carry ?
Just wondering what I can pack in one, how safe it is, and how much weight can go in it 
My car is a Mommy Van, a Chevy venture, with a roof rack thingy, if that helps
Check the owners manual for load capacity of the roof rack. Also remember that when you put anything on top of any car you have raised the center of gravity of the vehicle. The vehicle will handle a bit differently and you must slow down on sharp turns. Adding to the roof raises the rollover risk.
