Did you ever sware you would not be one of those owners and then?

I swore I would never be one of those owners who buy clothes for their dogs…till last week. I came across this coat made in a green camouflage fabric and bought it for rainy days only ( I told myself ).

Have you ever said something like ‘ I will never let my dog sleep in my bed’, or ‘I would never spend that much money on a dog’….and find yourself doing the exact opposite of what you said?

Couple of things.

I said I can’t imagine liking a Small Dog as much as the large breeds, I always had large breeds. Then I got a Shih Tzu and absolutely fell in love.

I used to pick on my mom when she would refer to herself and my stepdad as “mom and dad” to the dogs, but now I’m worse at doing that than she is.

I thought clothes on a dog was terrible, but yet my shih tzu has a rain coat for the bad rainy days here for his walks. I actually find it adorable on him, but I still blush when friends find out he has a raincoat.

Never thought I could stand to have a dog sleep in a bed with me, now Cubby sleeps with me every night (and usually steals my pillow).
