Buster Cube Dog Toy
What are some things I can do with my dog?
I usually spend 3-4 hours(I have School) with my dog daily and about 8-10 on weekends. I take him walking / jogging daily, which usually takes 45 mins – hour. And I’ll walk him every couple of hours for about 15 mins. And the other few hours just seems to be me and him playing with doggy toys. He’s only 6 months old so he can’t do much jumping type or hard vigorous activities. I really would like some interesting and fun things to do with him, not “oh buy this buster cube, it will keep him busy.” I already have toys for that. I just want to find some things we can both enjoy. I was wanting to take him hiking with me since I love it so much. But usually I go off trail hiking and I’m afraid he’ll step on something or get bit by something since he doesn’t have boots or gear. Does anyone have any suggestions??? He’s a Siberian Husky……..
You can start training the pup to do any of these at a young age.
A good place would not let the puppies do anything that would be hard on their bones… they just teach the basics, and obedience.
Agility! lots of fun for both handler and dog, especially if they like to run and jump!
O- Rally: If you like teaching your dog new tricks, and he`s good at it- it could be lots of fun.
Dock Diving: great if you dog likes to swim.
Schutzhund (though Siberian Huskies aren`t breed to do that kind of work)
