Best Sport/Support Boots?

I’m looking to buy some sport boots, but prices seem to vary so much and some are “super shock absorbent” and others are “ultra breathable” so I’m stumped on which to buy. I do competitive barrel racing and games. My horse is a quarter horse and is 15.3. He is on a medium-hard workout and I’m very competitive during show season. I just want to know which brand would give the best support.
