Is it true that if a microwave-safe dish or bowl gets hot, it isn’t microwave safe?

I’ve read that, and if you know what bowls and plates ARE safe, would you give me the brand please?

They will get hot just from having hot food in them, that is normal heat conduction.

The way to test if they are safe or not is to put an empty bowl in the oven along with a separate mug of water. You need the mug of water to absorb the microwaves otherwise the oven might damage itself.

If the the bowl still gets hot then it isn’t suitable.
