What are the best boots/shoes to buy for travelling around Africa?

I’m going to be travelling Africa and having only ever been on beach holidays am not to sure on what shoes/boots to take for comfort.

my mum is going to africa in january she has been a few times before. she has bought some kinda rainer boots she has been wearing them to break them in as she will have to walk alot. also make sure you cover your body as much as possible. my mum didnt know this and she got bit like mad and she had feet like baloons. i hope you have a wonderful journey. all the best
