What stupid warnings have you personally seen?
Yesterday I was driving on the autobahn in the rain in my Dodge Journey that I bought a couple months ago. As I went through a puddle the vehicle hydroplaned for a second or two. When this happened a light on the dash started blinking to warn me that I was hydroplaning. This “WARNING” light is a distraction for the driver as it tends to draw the distraction to the dashboard and away from the road where it is needed, particularly when full attention is desired. It is not like a warning that it could happen, it came on to warn that it was happening and went out when it stopped. Maybe there are people who would not know what is happening but one would think they should not be behind the wheel.

This just happened 2 days ago.
In front of a store a man parked his moped blocking a bicycle rack. There was a person standing there smoking and asked the man, “isn’t it nice how people just think of themselves?” and then added that he had just blocked use of the bike rack. The man started commenting that he would only be a minute and the smoker said, “why don’t you park there in the disabled parking space and that way you can at least also get a ticket?” The man pushed his moped over to the disabled parking space and walked into the store, making sarcastic comments the entire way.
When the man walked into the store, the smoker pulled out his ticket book and started writing.
The warning was not stupid, he did exactly what he said would happen. The moped rider was stupid, even when given a warning.
