So did k9 advantage become bayer advantage?

I saw a commercial for Petmeds and they normally advertise k9 advantage but now it says bayer advantage. Are these the same?
Which one is better? I hate seeing him scratch. If he picked any fleas up from my friends yard I hope the sentinel tabs kill them I put on frontline 4 weeks ago but I just gave him flea bath Friday night so I’m waiting till tomrrow to put the advantage on. I didn’t see any dead fleas but a lotof black dirt. Hopefully it wasn’t flea dirt. But he does get dirty because of being on the truck all the time

I don’t recommend frontline. K9 advantix protects against fleas, mosquitos, ticks, lice and biting flies, it does more than advantage. I recommend Capstar, you can pick it up at any Vet. It is a pill that kills fleas within a few hours, it lasts 24 hours. I recommend using Capstar, then after a few hours, bathe the dog, then apply the K9 Advantix or Advantage 24 hours later (they work better if used 24 hours after a bath). The Capstar will kill the fleas on him now, the topical flea/tick control will keep them from coming back for 30 days.
