How to teach some basic tricks to ur dog?

Well he’s one of those small dogs…he’s very playful and all that but i want to know how can i teach him stuff like to stay quite or sit or idk some cool stuff like to get something or find something

AND also i really want to teach him how to play with the ball…he just stares at it and doesnt follow the damn ball lOl could u give me some tips to teach him? thanks!

teaching tricks is better w/ a little positive reinforcement. Especially if you dog is food motivated it makes it even easy. But from experience after teaching a trick, before giving giving a treat I would wait for a steady state of mind. That mean if your dogs tail is out of wack and bounce here and there, you pet is not got going really channel into what your trying to get your pet to do. Also when your trying to get your pet to do a trick, you got to commit yourself to your command, because if you dog picks up on your insecurities, in most cases they are not going take your command well.

When playing fetch with the ball, I like carrying the squeaky tennis balls. 2 or 3 of them. After throwing the ball I make the sound with the ball. When the ball is retrieve, I ask for a steady state, and to drop the ball, before I throw the other ball that I got my pets attention on.

Just apply yourself with patience, confidence, and consistency and your pet with pick up on it as long as the handler is willing to commit
