Training with a shock collar?

Animal control was called because my puppy barks alot, The agent recommended an antibark collar (shock). I was wondering if there were any available that would work both automatically to control barking while i’m away from the house and by remote to use for other training purposes (ie: she’s digging alot too)?

In my opinion, shock collars are cruel. If you cant take the time to train your dog the right way, you don’t deserve to have one.

Put a shock collar on yourself & see how much you like it.
