Why do some dog owners imagine everyone else enjoys listening to their dogs bark?

Dog owners who train their dogs not to be a nuisance are just as annoyed by the barking dogs of people who are either too lazy or too stupid to train their dogs in the same way. Naturally people who don’t own dogs at all are even more annoyed by nuisance barking. Why do lazy, stupid people keep dogs they can’t be bothered to train properly? Why do they imagine everyone else, including other dog owners and non-owners want to listen to their untrained dogs barking constantly for no good reason.

I’ve had people in real life, as well as on here think that is it silly to think someone should control their dogs from barking.

We like to go to the dog park on occasion and there is a woman there who lets her dog bark CONSTANTLY. To the point of ridiculous. Now I’m a realist…dogs bark….it is a dog park…I get it. But at some point enough is enough. In the park we go to, excessive barking is considered a nusiance and you can be asked to leave the dog park, however, when is there ever anyone around who is “in charge” to enforce it.

This woman thinks it is supressing the dogs nature to ask it to stop barking. ~sigh~

I give up and just go with the mindset that some people are hugely ignorant and incosiderate.
