What’s the best way to promote/sell my artwork – art pieces go on a wall, about 1′x1′?

There are several ways you could do this…

Lots of major cities and towns have art and craft fairs…probably aren’t a lot in the winter, but maybe where you live there are. You could do a search online (not sure where you live) for that or you can check these websites:

Bigger fairs have people who travel to showcase as well as local artists, so you might be able to travel, as long as you have a good amount of pieces to display and sell, and your art will travel well.

which is a place to sell handmade things online

You could check out the artists section of your local craigslist

Walk around to local galleries, talk to artists, friends, usually local restaurants, cafes or bars will display local artists and even sell pieces
