what kind of clipper i need to cut my dog?

I have a maltese and decided to groom him myself. I went and brought an expensive kit and now he looks like freddy crouger got a hold of him without the blood. I’m afraid to take him to a real groomer cause they might charge me with animal cruelty. I swear sometime my dog is asking me “WHAT THE HELL YOU DO TO ME???” How can i fix this???

Just take him to a pro groomer to get him fixed. They are use to fixing home botch jobs all the time. Unless the dog is very sick, thin, or has obvious signs of animal abuse, they won’t charge you with animal cruelty. The only reason for them to contact the authorities would be if there actually are signs of abuse. (a home hair cut would NOT be a reason)
