What happens if you got cut on your vein in your wrist?

Okay so , i woke up this morning and i had a cut on my left hand on my vein and it was bleeding . I checked my other hand and there was 2 bigger cuts too! they really hurt if you even put the smallest amount of weight on it like a tissue , so i am kinda scared to put a band aid on . What should i do?

go straight to the hospital walk in centre because we learnt this in science if you cut a vein you can live for hours without basically dying but if you cut an artery you can sometimes only live for a few seconds so go straight to the hospital sod the doctors coz u could die in the waiting room lol dont worry i doubt it. but try to cover it so there isnt any infection and so you dont loose too much blood
