Aid Guide Behavior
how much to pay a nanny / babysitter ?
How much do you think a nanny or sitter should make an hour to look after 4 children, aged 12, 10, 5, and 4? Consider the person in question has been working in childcare for nearly 10yrs and is cpr/First Aid certified and has certification in guiding the behaviors of young children age 3-5.
We pay our current nanny $15/hour to watch out children (14, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 4, and 19 months). She is a college student, on her way to becoming a teacher, CPR and first aid trained. I’m always home with her, just need some back-up. Use that as I guide. I’d say this price would be reasonable for your sitter as well.
